I started as an iOS engineer. I went on to build startups, products, teams, a software company that ended in an exit, and research and development programmes. I remained a practising engineer even after I became responsible for the whole as a lead and CTO.
The path
MicroStrategy · 2010
One day, our lead walked into the team carrying a first-generation iPad and asked who wanted to learn how to program these new devices. I volunteered. That decision put me among Poland's first wave of iOS developers — from proof-of-concept work to collaborating with teams in the United States and China.
Sorted App · Allegro · Grupa Pracuj · 2012–2016
In Birmingham, as CTO of Sorted App Ltd at Oxygen Accelerator, I built my first startup. The project won Tech Entrepreneurs’ Week 2012 and gained more than 600 users within weeks of launch, without marketing. Back in Poland, I developed Allegro's mobile products and later led Hunt.me at Grupa Pracuj. In two and a half months, three teams moved from the decision to build to the first iOS, Android, and Windows Phone releases.

Demant · RISEN · 2016–2019
At Demant, I worked on R&D projects that used iOS for virtual listening and hearing-aid calibration. In parallel, I co-founded RISEN and was responsible for technology and operations. Together with the team, I built a software company from scratch. I exited the venture after three years, while a group of more than ten colleagues was acquired by Netguru.

I led teams and products across mobility, care services, property, art, web3, pharma, and medtech. I moved between the roles of engineer, lead, R&D lead, and CTO — from Vooom and Smrtlinks, through TenanTeam, ArtGuard, Wannabe, and iMeshup, to Candao, Novo Nordisk, and Wellysa. At Candao, I moved from leading iOS to taking CTO responsibility for the entire platform and a technology organisation of up to 40 people.

MobileMS · Warsaw Tourist Office · 2015
I worked on Chopin in Warsaw and Selfie with Chopin. The first recreated lost Chopin-related places in AR and 3D; the second let visitors meet an animated composer at seven locations around the city. Both were available in eight languages, and Chopin in Warsaw was nominated for the 2015 Mobile Trends Awards.

Drummers · KERRIS / &more · 2016
I worked on the technology team behind Drummers, an application created for Wunderman Middle East. It brought the musaharati tradition to the phone, waking users for suhoor at a time that changed each day. The project won Bronze in Mobile at Dubai Lynx 2016.
LINK Institut · market research · Switzerland
For the Swiss LINK Institut, I helped build LINK Move, a mobile application used to study out-of-home advertising. In a project with APG|SGA, it used beacons to register 545 participants' exposure to campaigns, allowing that data to be combined with their survey responses. The project won the 2017 GOR Best Practice Award.
TAURON Arena Kraków · MobileMS / Neutrica · 2017
I worked on the official TAURON Arena Kraków application, built by MobileMS and Neutrica. An interactive map and almost 200 Kontakt.io beacons gave visitors real-time directions to their sectors, food points, cloakrooms, and toilets. The system also supported contextual messages, polls, and surveys during events. It was the first such solution in a Polish sports and entertainment venue.

R&D programmes · 2021–2023
I led the technology side of TenanTeam, ArtGuard, and CreatureRacer/Wannabe: from proptech and art portfolio management to Play&Earn components. Each project required turning research work into architecture, a team, and a product that could be put into use.

As co-founder and CTO, I developed a collaboration platform for 3D assets. It was used by professionals from companies such as EA, Magic Leap, and Oculus, while game studios became paying customers.

At Novo Nordisk, I led a mobile applications team supporting globalLIMS and PEMS. We streamlined the process and shortened the release cycle fourfold while preserving the validation, control, and compliance required in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Wellysa · medtech · now
As CTO and co-investor, I am responsible for Wellysa's technology. We took the product from concept to a working service that combines an app, health profiling, diagnostics, and physician-approved recommendations.
